1. Start with the service day
Weekday, Saturday and Sunday or holiday schedules may differ at the same station. For travel after midnight, also check which service day the operator assigns to that departure.
2. Check where the train finishes
The final departure in a direction may terminate before your stop. Check both the last departure time and the final train that actually reaches your destination.
3. Treat each transfer separately
Catching the last train on the first leg does not guarantee the next connection. Check arrival at the transfer station, the next departure and the time needed to change platforms.
4. Read the day’s announcements
Engineering works, events, temporary schedules and delays can change regular service. Use the timetable as a starting point, then check the operator’s latest information on your travel day.
